Who we are

ActorFactor is a unique collaboration that was founded in 2001 By Emma Brown and Gillie Stoneham. The company was designed to combine the talents of a highly experienced team of actor facilitators to offer training and development using theatre skills such as roleplay across a spectrum of applications and for a range of organisations.

Our associates possess unique knowledge and expertise that combines skilled acting, providing authentic improvised behaviours, and skilled facilitation within training programmes.

Above all, ActorFactor works dynamically. From first exploration of the needs of a client organisation, through design and delivery, we constantly seek improvements that will keep building on the value we offer. From the simplest single event to extended or permanent programme roll-outs we strive for the best possible fit between the associates, their delivery and the participants. For us this is the power of improvisation – the freedom to flex and respond with insight, offering the most we can to all parties. We call it ‘working in the moment’.

Critical to all ActorFactor programmes is a safe environment that offers low risk to participants to achieve high impact results. ActorFactor is used by trainers, human resources teams, training consultants and coaches to provide a real life dynamic to any situation.
